And I think the biggest drawback of UML is that is attempts to substitute verbal (text) with visual (diagrams) on essentially the same level of abstraction. But I disagree with author on these two points: 1) all tools are of the same nature as UML and therefore of little use; and 2) that &quot;The tools don&#039;t guide you through the process.&quot;&lt;br /&gt;
