Firefox 3 Download Day
Submitted by Dustin Marx on Mon, 06/16/2008 - 21:10.Tomorrow (Tuesday, June 17, 2008) is the day in which there will be an attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the most software downloads in 24 hours (downloading of Firefox 3). While it can be fun to be part of such an event, I am looking forward to the many new features of Firefox 3. I'll be doing my part to contribute to Firefox 3 Download Day 2008 by downloading Firefox 3 on all of my computers during the 24-hour period. This short blog entry is my small contribution to spreading the word.
I am similarly looking forward to the release of Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, which is supposed to be significantly more standards compliant than previous versions of MSIE.
