Loading Scrollable BIG Images in J2me

I need to display some large jpg images (300KB or even larger) in a scrollable way,

I've tried using TiledLayer, but as the image is still too big.... OutOfMemory error make my app cannot start working...

I have think of cutting the large pic into a few different smaller images...but it seems so troublesom and very difficult to combine them...

So I wonder if there are any other ways to display a scrollable giant image, or any suggestions on assembling those smaller images (and make them look like scrolling continuously)?

Many Thanks!

OOPS Class Confusion

I am developing a sample application for learning Oops concepts and have a following scenario which has entities: Task, Reminder.

A Task simply stores the description, status, title etc for it and it is possible to create a reminder for the task i.e. A task may/may not have a reminder set for it (Association would essentially be: 1 task can have 0..1 reminder). Required possible attributes/methods are:

Task
Attributes
-- id
-- title
-- status
-- Description
-- Reminder (object of reminder class) => Not sure whether there will be a Reminder object here?

Methods

Regarding Configuration files

Hi All, I need to take a design level decission in using configuration files and request to provide your inputs on this.

My product is having a single configuration file covering the basic configurations. While using this for a project the no of lines in this configuration file is exceeding 4000 lines.

So my developers comming back and suggesting to have this configuration file to be splitted into mutiple.

The CookieStore

I just stumbled upon this keyword when i was searching
the .net api for Java SE 6 thought it was fun to read

java.net

Interface CookieStore

public interface CookieStore

A CookieStore object represents a storage for cookie. Can store and retrieve cookies.

CookieManager will call CookieStore.add to save cookies for every incoming HTTP response, and call CookieStore.get to retrieve cookie for every outgoing HTTP request. A CookieStore is responsible for removing HttpCookie instances which have expired.

Think about it how many times have you tried to eat a cookie and never

I'm trying to make a BinarySearchTree class. This code worked before fine, but now that I am on a different computer I get a lot of errors saying "cannot find symbol" for "TreeNode" and "BinarySearchTree." Since it was working fine before, I'm assuming that the problem is with something I need to import on my computer to make this work first. Do you have any idea what this is? Thanks for the help!
