Loading Scrollable BIG Images in J2me

I need to display some large jpg images (300KB or even larger) in a scrollable way,

I've tried using TiledLayer, but as the image is still too big.... OutOfMemory error make my app cannot start working...

I have think of cutting the large pic into a few different smaller images...but it seems so troublesom and very difficult to combine them...

So I wonder if there are any other ways to display a scrollable giant image, or any suggestions on assembling those smaller images (and make them look like scrolling continuously)?

i want to know if Tomcat 5.5 wud work with jdk 1.6 or not becoz i m reading frm the book on java for the web by budi kurniawan and i searched for the error 404
when i use the browser to run my servlet......and i followed what the solution to it was given that i had to make a package and then finally run the servlet ...........the prob still exists :-( .............
main Q :does tomcat5.5 work with jdk1.6

I am developing a sample application for learning Oops concepts and have a following scenario which has entities: Task, Reminder.

A Task simply stores the description, status, title etc for it and it is possible to create a reminder for the task i.e. A task may/may not have a reminder set for it (Association would essentially be: 1 task can have 0..1 reminder). Required possible attributes/methods are:

-- Reminder (object of reminder class) => Not sure whether there will be a Reminder object here?

TreeNode not recognized

I'm trying to make a BinarySearchTree class. This code worked before fine, but now that I am on a different computer I get a lot of errors saying "cannot find symbol" for "TreeNode" and "BinarySearchTree." Since it was working fine before, I'm assuming that the problem is with something I need to import on my computer to make this work first. Do you have any idea what this is? Thanks for the help!

Interest on credit card accounts can be quite high. Most credit card    companies compute interest on an average daily balance. Here is an algorithm for computing the average daily balance and the monthly interest charge on a credit card.
