J2ee migration with DB2 9.x

Hi,
I found that DB2 9 is meant to improve on Version 8 in areas such as performance, scalability, and security.
Can some please tell me that is I migrate a J2EE application with DB2 9.x from DB2 8.2 then is there is any impact on my web application?
My application simply access the DB2 8.2 to get the result and JSP is showing the result on the web-page.
