Simulated flashing LEDs

Hello,
Does anybody have some Web code to simulate a modem box type of a front end with flashing lights and the whole bit as I need to turn them on/off, etc.
I hate to use an html picture...not accurate enough.
I hesitate to spend hours drawing in a figure.
