Is SpringMVC worth attention in 2009?

SpringMVC and similar technologies were great a few years ago, but now, when web pages and web applications need to have more and more advanced GUIs, "classical" solutions like pure JSP, Velocity, Spring MVC don't met the requirements.
IMO, it's better to invest time in learning more advanced solutions for web applications, like JSF+Seam+Ajax, or Adobe Flex.
