just because...

I don't think they should have "every damn service" on their apps engine just because they have the capacity.. what about the users that have to surf through all that crap before finding what they need? Glycine Watches

Facebook stinks

While they do have the server capacity to do it, I don't think it's a wise choice to have "every damn app" possible. The issue is, when you have everything, individual things lack excellence. I think they should stick to a few and make those the best in the biz.. not have everything half-way. They do have an awesome chat application on gmail though. It knocks facebook's chat out of the water!
