How to create a sortable table?

Hi,
I really hope someone can help me how to do sorting of table.

I have created a html form which collected information like name, gender, address, ID and membership type - member or volunteer.

The data collected are stored in a msaccess table.

Next, I used a java servlet to display the table that contains all the records above.

How do I make my table column sortable. I just need to sort according to member or volunteer. And please make it the simplest and easiest way to do this because I'm not a good programmer. Thank you very much
