Lean Practices in Java Enterprise Development

Hi All,

I am trying to complete some research for a Masters at present. The topic I am investigating is how well Enterprise Java Development Practices align with Lean Software Development Practices. With Agile approaches, Test Driven Development, use of frameworks such as Spring and Continuous Integration being seen as best practice it would seem that this alignment should already exist however I was hoping to quantify this so I was hoping I could get input from experienced Java Developers working on Enterprise applications.
