Display of large table on screen

I have looked at Net Beans Swing and can not find a component that satisfies the following requirement.

I need to display a large table on the screen. The row headings are Person. The column headings are YYYYMMDD. The table can be larger than the screen and therefore I need to be able to page up and down vertically using the side bar slide and also need to be able to page across horizontally using the bottom of screen slide.

In addition each cell of the table needs to act like a button in that if it is mouse clicked then I will display a window showing details about the cell.

The table will be generated dynamically and therefore its size could be small or large depending on the database being used as input.

Also ideally the display of the above mentioned table should reside inside a window.

I am a little new to Java and would appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction.
