A call to all those smalltalkers that unfortuantely had to move to java ...it was fun to code in Smalltalk !
it didn't lose due to marketing, it lost because the vendors competing with Java (ParcPlace & Digitalk to name two major ones) tried to sell it for far too much. At the same time java was FREE
