I think, your sample is wrong. The pipeline is a pattern. The pipeline and filter is another pattern most knowing in the world of architectural patterns but valid for design, software and domain-specific patterns... and finally, the CoR is another pattern.
the core differens are: CoR can decide about the flow of its "pipeline" (CoR have a dinamic pipeline) and can change dinamically based on the parameters data of the CoR
