I wrote a while back to let you know that we're in the process of migrating the Java Q&A forums to JavaWorld's expanded community platform. The migration is underway, as you will know if you've checked out the new Java Q&A Forums in progress.

In fact, we're reconciling the forum databases this week. If you are a currently registered member of these forums, you'll soon be able to participate in the new community using your current userid.

I hope you'll check out the new forums and let us know what you think. These forums will be archived in early October: you'll still be able to read old posts, but you'll need to use the new forums to post Java-related questions and answers.
