Is anyone using UDDI servers as intranet service registries?
From what I've seen the UDDI spec is ultra abstract and barely usable unless you invest considerable effort. You have to set up elaborate taxonomies. Systinet has the best interface and its pretty much unusuable by a non-information architect (and even then?).
How do people currently register their web services? Is everything homegrown? http://www.xmethods.net is great, but you can't get it/download it/or buy it.
