i want to play a midi file with lyrics.those lyrics should be displayed according to the song in the background.as .kar files .but i want to do that with .mid files .so pls can you send me the code .itried a lot but i didnt find it out.so kidly send me that code.

Hello,
I don't have the code to accomplish this task. However, I have found a Java product called Plarpebu that is able to play .kar files (essentially MIDI-Karaoke .mid files renamed with .kar extension -- see Wikipedia MIDI Entry for more info) and includes the source code for the plugin used to play .kar files.
