For the UK users out there, you might like to know isharemaps provides a pretty decent UK geocoder. It geocodes to postcodes and cities.
It is not free, but it's not expensive either, and it is very accurate, which free ones never are(at least not for the UK). Check it out at www.geocode.isharemaps.com

Which is great if you want only to geocode a postcode to lat long. What if you want to geocode an street and city address?
