How do you feel about this latest release of Java SE? Anything missing?

I play in pogo.com game site. Went to get back into game and pogo could not find java, message was "java not installed or corrupt. I followed all intructions regarding uninstalling and reinstalling java again. Had it verified said installation succefful, so why is pogo not finding it? Please advise
