Hello I read your article and I found it very intersting. I'm writing this post cause I have a problem. I'm developing a midlet using j2mepolish. I have a gamecanvas subclass which does not show the menu in the polish-like fashion. I set fullscreen="menu" and usePolishGui="true" in the build section; I set the variable "polish.GameCanvas.useFullScreen" to true. In the GameCanvas subclass I declared the method paintscreen in order not to use the method paint and keep it free for j2mepolish. However, it does not work; the canvas is displayed properly but it show the standard menu and not the j2mepolish one. Any help?

Have you tried to set soft keys values in your device specifications xml, or to change compilation to the specific device like Nokia 6230i?
