I don't understand what's the point in adding functionality that is redundant. If I have to learn something new to do something which I can already do is worrisome for me futher I fear that they may even make the previous ways obsolete.

Except the enum feature, all the others makes the language harder and I don't find any advantage over the previous methods, i.e., the previous methods are more easy to write and read.
