Stop being a defensive, if you are a skilled IT person you only need to worry about staying sharp not outsourcing.
There is nothing wrong with trying to save a couple of bucks on low level skills jobs. India or China.. ! Who cares it mostly support and maintenance work. Why no one complains about Mexicans cutting a grass (most of them not even legal here.), no one wants to do these jobs. So how long do you think a skilled IT professional will do support or maintenances? You want a job! So get trained and certified with technology. Prove that you more then average person, thats all.
